About the Class
Our hands-on biology series is perfect for elementary school aged young scientists who want to explore the fascinating inner workings of various animals. Each session focuses on a different dissection, allowing students to learn about anatomy, physiology, and the role of different organs and structures. This course is designed to inspire curiosity and deepen students' understanding of the natural world. The Mammalian Heart: In our Cow Heart Dissection class, students will delve into the world of cardiovascular anatomy. They will have the opportunity to examine the heart's chambers, valves, and vessels, gaining a deeper understanding of how this powerful organ pumps blood throughout the body. Things to Know: With the expertise of our instructor, Azana Best, who holds a degree in Biology and Pre-Med from Baylor University, our Biology Dissection Adventure classes offers a unique opportunity to understand the anatomy in a hand-son and accessible way for children. The specimens are sourced from food markets, and we take great care to approach the dissection with respect. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided to children. Bookings made with the discounted class pack are not refundable. For classes and evening events: To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 72 hours in advance. For courses: if we need to cancel or reschedule due to teacher illness, we will provide an alternative date/time. Please note any refund will be less the payment processor fee of 3%.
