Join us for an immersive week of discovery at the "Biology & Beyond: The Science Explorers Camp" designed for young scientists aged 5-10. This camp is all about understanding the living world around us, from tiny cells to majestic animals, fascinating fish, curious amphibians, humans, and even the unseen world of bacteria. Through engaging hands-on activities and experiments, children will delve into the wonders of biology and gain a deeper appreciation for the physical world. Daily Structure: Morning: Begin each day with exciting hands-on experiments and activities. Midday: Enjoy a picnic lunch at Littlejohn Park, followed by fun field games. Afternoon: Continue the science adventure with more experiments and activities. Educational Journey: Day 1: Marvels of Cells: Introduction to cells, the building blocks of life. Activities include making cell models using craft materials and observing onion cells under a micros Day 2: Amazing Animals: Explore the animal kingdom. Activities include creating animal habitats using dioramas and learning about different animal classifications Day 3: Fantastic Fish and Amphibians: Discover the fascinating world of fish and amphibians. Activities include building fish anatomy models and exploring the life cycle of frogs. Day 4: Human Body Exploration: Activities include creating human body systems puzzles and learning about the major organs and their functions. Day 5: Unseen World of Bacteria: Unveil the mysteries of microorganisms. Activities include growing bacteria cultures from everyday objects and learning about good vs. bad bacteria. Details & Logistics: • Drop Off: 8:45–9:00am | Pick Up: 4:00pm | Extended Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm. • Lunch: Bring a labeled water bottle, two hearty snacks, and a nut-free lunch. • Attire: Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. Note: We’re a "no-shoes" facility, we recommend trampoline socks. • Belongings: Leave toys and personal items at home or in the lobby cubbies. Please use code “Siblings10” for a 10% discount on the 2nd child. Camp Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Transfer Option: Contact us to transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: We provide a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued.
