About the Class
A 4 session course designed to help your child continue their journey in learning the piano. Students in this class have taken piano lessons in the past. This class combines fun musicianship lessons with practical piano skills in an engaging and supportive group setting. Limited to six beginner students per class. Class Structure: 1. Each session kicks off with an activity that introduces a primary musical concept. This could be rhythm, melody, harmony, or musical notation, This engages the students and warm up their minds for the piano lesson ahead. 2. First Piano Exercise: This segment is designed to ease them into the world of piano playing, focusing on basic techniques and preparing them for the main piece of the session. 3. Demonstration: The instructor introduces the main piece from the current lesson book. They'll demonstrate specific methods and techniques for playing the piece, breaking down challenging parts and ensuring students understand the nuances of the composition. 4. Independent Practice with Support 5. As the session winds down, students are assigned specific parts of the piece to practice at home. Membership Benefit: This class is included with our monthly membership package. Please contact us to enroll in the course.
Cancellation Policy
When you enroll in our multi-class course, you're securing a dedicated spot for your child in a small group learning experience. Our course fee is set with the understanding that students may occasionally miss a class due to illness or other commitments. This allows us to maintain consistent small group sizes that enhance learning and ensure teacher availability for every session. While we cannot offer credits or makeups for classes your child is unable to attend, we are committed to delivering all the classes in each course. If we need to cancel a class due to teacher illness or emergency, we will schedule a makeup class by extending the course schedule, or creating an additional class at a different time. This ensures every student receives the full class experience they enrolled for. If you know your child will miss some sessions, we will pro-rate at the time of enrollment. For new students joining mid-course, we happily pro-rate the course fee based on the remaining classes. This adjustment must be arranged at the time of enrollment. Think of our courses like a semester at school or a sports team season - your enrollment reserves your child's spot in the group, ensuring they can build skills alongside their peers in a consistent, supportive environment. This structure helps us create the best possible learning experience for all our students. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to making our small group classes a success.
