About the Class

Session 2: July 14-18 Imagine creating your own book that will sit on real library shelves! Using games, art, and silly storytelling challenges, you'll become a published author - plus you'll get a copy of the book to show off to everyone you know. Young authors collaborate to create "Tales From The Village" - a professionally published anthology featuring every child's story and artwork. Through creative games, art projects, and storytelling activities, children develop confidence in their creative abilities while contributing to a real published book. Daily Highlights: Monday: Character development and storytelling games Tuesday: Plot development and story writing Wednesday: Illustration techniques and art creation Thursday: More art and editing Friday: Author celebration and book reading Take-Home: One copy of the published anthology with camper listed as a co-author available ~2 weeks from end of camp. Learning: Students develop creative writing and storytelling skills through guided activities. Focus on narrative structure, artistic expression, and collaborative creation. Ideal for imaginative minds who love stories, art, and creative expression! _______________________ Details & Logistics: • Ages: 5 to 11 (kids should be able to write short sentences) • Drop Off: 8:45–9:00am | Pick Up: 4:00pm | Extended Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm. • Food: Bring a labeled water bottle, two hearty snacks, and a nut-free lunch. • Attire: Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. Note: We’re a "no-shoes" facility, we recommend trampoline socks. Contact us for a discount code. Camp Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Transfer Option: Contact us to transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: We provide a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment processing fee.
