About the Class
THE LIBRARY (2062 Lincoln) | Monday, December 21 – Thursday, December 24, 2026 Four days, three real forges, and one Lantern Avenue glowing at the end. Each Maker rotates through the LED Lab, the Marble Studio, and the Wooden Workshop, while building a hand-decorated paper lantern for the Big Build: a hallway-length installation of every camper's lantern lit from inside with battery candles. Day 1 is LED Lab. Day 2 is Marble Studio. Day 3 is Wooden Workshop with a holiday-lights walking tour through Alameda. Day 4 brings final wrapping, the Lantern Avenue Lighting, and the Gift Forge Open House. Every Maker takes home three completed gifts, each wrapped with a hand-written tag, plus their lantern after the Avenue is photographed. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
