THE VILLAGE (1102 Lincoln) | Wednesday, December 30, 2026 Today the lollipops take center stage. The Lollipop Lab is a one-day pass into Day 3 of Sugar Lab, our sweet-science week — same cohort, same room, same staff — the Sweet Showcase day, when the cohort's chocolate lollipops come off the Candy Tree and everything the lab has made gets curated into a real tasting menu. The morning makes the menu's fresh additions across four stations: chocolate-dipped pretzels at the re-tempered burner, fruit kabobs, white-chocolate candy bark loaded with chosen mix-ins, and the first rock-candy crystals lifted glittering from their jars. After park lunch at Littlejohn, the cohort finishes decorating the Candy Tree — lollipops, rock candy, bark pieces, foil stars — then sits down to the Sweet Showcase tasting: a kids-only, five-taste protocol (look, smell, taste, score, talk) with water between bites and gracious-taster language required. The fully decorated Tree gets its cohort photo — the centerpiece of the family recap email. Every Tasting Curator heads home with their tasting menu card and their Recipe Notebook — five-taste ratings inside, Tasting Curator patch on the cover. Underneath the sugar: menu design, structured observation, and how to say "not my favorite" kindly. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. 2026–27 School Year Camp Policy 60 Days or More Before Camp Start Date 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! 45–59 Days Before Camp Start Date Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Summer 2026 Camp Policy (for camps running June–August 2026) After May 1, 2026: No refunds. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
