About the Class
THE VILLAGE (1102 Lincoln) | Thursday, December 31, 2026 Today is the camp's NYE day. Confetti Lab Scientists spend the morning mixing glow slime in jars labeled with the year, building real confetti potions (pressure-cap jars that erupt on shake), and making party hats from scratch with sequins, foil, and ribbons. Park lunch at Littlejohn. Afternoon: the Ball Drop Build — the cohort engineers a real cardboard ball-drop track (winding, looping, chute-style) for a glittery foam ball to descend on cue. Finale: The 3 PM Camp Countdown — the whole cohort counts down from ten, the ball drops, the confetti potions erupt, the glow slime goes off, and a confetti shower comes down on the room. Every camper takes home a New Year's glow slime jar dated for the year, a party hat with the camper's name, and a confetti-photo memento. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
