THE VILLAGE (1102 Lincoln) | Thursday, December 31, 2026 Today the lab counts down. The Confetti Lab is a one-day pass into the New Year's Eve finale of Sugar Lab, our sweet-science week — same cohort, same room, same staff — and it's the week's wildest day. The morning makes the party: glow slime mixed jar by jar — glue, glow pigment, activator, knead — and labeled with their name and the new year, plus confetti potions that fizz and swirl glitter on a vinegar pour. Then the lights dim, the UV blacklight flips on, and every slime jar in the room glows in its maker's hands. After park lunch at Littlejohn, the afternoon builds the ball drop: rope, pulley, and a glittered, LED-lit New Year's ball rigged to descend on cue, with countdown number signs and a full dress rehearsal. At 3:00 sharp, the NYE Camp Countdown: ten… nine… the ball drops, confetti poppers fire, and the cohort rushes the Candy Tree to harvest its week of candy into NYE Goody Bags. The Master Confectioneer title ceremony closes the day. Every camper heads home with a glow slime jar dated for the new year, a Goody Bag of candy harvested off the Tree, and the Master Confectioneer patch on their Recipe Notebook. Underneath the confetti: measurement, mechanism design, and a countdown they ran themselves. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. 2026–27 School Year Camp Policy 60 Days or More Before Camp Start Date 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! 45–59 Days Before Camp Start Date Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Summer 2026 Camp Policy (for camps running June–August 2026) After May 1, 2026: No refunds. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
