About the Class
THE LIBRARY (2062 Lincoln) | Monday, February 15 – Friday, February 19, 2027 Five days to build a town from nothing, including the literal town. Older campers enter The Junior Mayors League as candidates, council members, map designers, lawmakers, budget keepers, and neighborhood docents. The Big Build is a 4-foot tabletop scale-model city made across the week. Wednesday brings real ballots and real campaigns. The elected Mayor decrees one new feature for the model. Friday is Town Hall, with families as visiting citizens and each camper docenting their neighborhood. Every Mayor's League member takes home a portfolio with their map section, laws, election-day ballot, model photo, and League pin. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
