About the Class
THE VILLAGE (1102 Lincoln) | Monday, January 18, 2027 Today the smallest hands paint the biggest dreams onto something they can carry. Morning begins with a kid-friendly Dr. King story circle, then campers build big paper lanterns with battery tea-lights inside. Each Dreamer paints 'I dream of...' onto the lantern panels, then assembles a kindness kit for someone they love. The finale is the Dream Lantern Parade: the cohort walks to Littlejohn Park at twilight carrying lit lanterns, and families join at pickup for the walk home. Every Dreamer takes home the lantern, still glowing, plus a kindness kit and parade photo. Quiet practice: empathy, symbolic art, careful making, and the brave act of naming a hope out loud. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date. Our Promise We want your child to have a wonderful summer — and we’ll always do our best to accommodate changes with kindness and flexibility.
