Session 2: July 21-25 Ever thought of dissecting real owl poo to find tiny animal bones? Join us for an epic week of bubbling potions, slimy experiments, and microscopic monster hunting! You'll even get your own science gear to keep. Don your safety goggles for an extraordinary week of hands-on experiments and fascinating discoveries. Young scientists will dissect owl pellets, explore microscopic worlds, create explosive reactions, and build engineering challenges. Each day brings new experiments, outdoor exploration, and take-home projects that will amaze friends and family. Daily Highlights: Monday: Owl pellet dissection and bone identification Tuesday: Microscope exploration and slide creation Wednesday: Chemical reactions and safe laboratory experiments Thursday: Engineering challenges including egg drop and rocket design Friday: Water filtration and terrarium building Take-Home: Safety goggles, personal microscope, and completed science journal. Learning: Students develop scientific method skills through hands-on experimentation and data collection. Focus on observation, hypothesis testing, and basic principles of chemistry, physics, and biology. Perfect for curious minds who love to ask "why?" and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty in the name of science! _______________________ Details & Logistics: • Ages: 4 (entering K) to 11 • Drop Off: 8:45–9:00am | Pick Up: 4:00pm | Extended Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm. • Food: Bring a labeled water bottle, two hearty snacks, and a nut-free lunch. • Attire: Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. Note: We’re a "no-shoes" facility, we recommend trampoline socks. Contact us for a discount code. Camp Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Transfer Option: Contact us to transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: We provide a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment processing fee.
