Session 1: July 7-11 Ever dreamed of building your own marble maze or rubber band-powered race car? Get ready to use real tools to construct awesome contraptions that actually work - plus epic building challenges and competitions every day! Young engineers use real tools and materials to design and build exciting projects. From simple machines to marble runs, kids develop problem-solving skills while creating working contraptions to take home. Each day brings new engineering challenges and opportunities for creative construction. Daily Highlights: Monday: Simple machines and basic tool safety Tuesday: Marble run engineering and testing Wednesday: Bridge building and structural testing Thursday: Rubber band-powered vehicles Friday: Final project construction and demonstration Take-Home: Tool kit and completed engineering project. Learning: Students develop basic engineering and construction skills through hands-on building. Focus on problem-solving, spatial reasoning, and understanding mechanical principles. Ideal for hands-on learners who love to build and create! _______________________ Details & Logistics: • Ages: 4 (entering K) to 11 • Drop Off: 8:45–9:00am | Pick Up: 4:00pm | Extended Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm. • Food: Bring a labeled water bottle, two hearty snacks, and a nut-free lunch. • Attire: Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. Note: We’re a "no-shoes" facility, we recommend trampoline socks. Contact us for a discount code. Camp Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Transfer Option: Contact us to transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: We provide a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment processing fee.
