About the Class
THE VILLAGE (1102 Lincoln) | Wednesday, November 11, 2026 Every hero deserves a cookie, and today we are the bakers. Our youngest chefs join Mission Cookie Drop: measuring, mixing, and baking dozens of cookies for real local heroes. Morning is bakery time, with name-tag aprons on and flour in the air. Then we build hero shields with cardboard and paint before lunch and field games at Littlejohn Park. Afternoon is the Decorating Station Free-For-All: icing, sprinkles, total cookie creativity, and boxes packed for firefighters. The Village staff delivers cookies to the Alameda Fire Department the next morning. Every Hero Baker takes home a personalized apron, hero shield craft, and a copy of the thank-you card they wrote. Beneath the sweetness: measurement, sequencing, careful decoration, and the felt experience of service. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
