About the Class
THE LIBRARY (2062 Lincoln) | Monday, November 23 – Wednesday, November 25, 2026 Three days to build a GIANT. The first Big Build is a paper-mache turkey BIGGER than a kindergartener, on display at The Library all month. The second is a 10-foot scale-model Thanksgiving feast that takes over the room. Day 1: the turkey body goes up and bird biology turns the build into science. Day 2: the cohort constructs the 10-foot feast and films a TV-style cooking show segment. Day 3 is the GAME SHOW FINALE: Worst Recipe Cook-Off with real measurements so families can attempt it at home. Every Feast Engineer takes home a recipe book with their Worst Recipe, a docent badge, and the glory of having helped build the turkey visitors will see all month. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
