THE VILLAGE (1102 Lincoln) | Monday, November 23, 2026 Today the smallest hands bake real bread. The Tiny Bakery is a one-day pass into Bread Day — Day 1 of Sprout & Spice, our Thanksgiving cooking week — same cohort, same room, same staff, with a take-home all its own. Tiny Bakers tie on a personalized apron and head into the Dinner Roll Dough Lab: measuring flour by the cupful, smelling the yeast wake up and foam in warm water (it's ALIVE), and kneading dough in pairs — push, fold, turn — before setting it to rise under a dish towel. While the dough rises, lunch and games at Littlejohn Park. Back in the studio the dough has doubled — a wow you can see — and the rolls bake in rotation all afternoon while the week's Big Build goes up: the 8-foot Gratitude Tree is raised to cheers, and every kid paints a dinner-plate-sized gratitude leaf and clips it to the branches. Every Tiny Baker walks out at 4:00 with a warm dinner roll wrapped in parchment and the Rising Dough Badge on their apron — and leaves a hand-painted leaf on the Tree. Underneath the flour dust: measurement, patience, yeast science, and one complete bake from scratch to crumb. Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. 2026–27 School Year Camp Policy 60 Days or More Before Camp Start Date 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! 45–59 Days Before Camp Start Date Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Summer 2026 Camp Policy (for camps running June–August 2026) After May 1, 2026: No refunds. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
