About the Class

Session 2: August 3-7, 2026 Discover the stories that make San Francisco shine! Rising 3rd-5th graders, join us for an unforgettable urban adventure across San Francisco’s most iconic neighborhoods — from Mission murals to Golden Gate gardens, Chinatown markets, and the art-filled heart of SoMa. In this week-long exploration camp, kids travel by AC Transit and MUNI each day to uncover the past, present, and future of our amazing City by the Bay. Along the way, they meet artists, walk historic streets, experience diverse cultures, and connect art, history, and innovation into one colorful story — the San Francisco Mosaic. Each day focuses on a new neighborhood, a new theme, and a new way to experience the city — through art, architecture, food, and creativity. By week’s end, campers will have built their own “My San Francisco Mosaic” — a journal, art book, and memory map of their city journey. It’s a week of exploration, expression, and discovery — through the eyes of a true Bay Area kid. ________________________________________ Daily Adventures Monday – Roots of the City: Mission Dolores & Murals Begin at San Francisco’s origins!
