About the Class
Celebrate the start of summer vacation with our energetic "Summer Kick-Off Celebration" camp! This one-day event helps children transition from school year to summer with a perfect blend of reflection, anticipation, and active fun. The morning begins with collaborative summer bucket list creation, where campers visualize and plan for the adventures ahead while setting personal goals. Outdoor science activities introduce seasonal concepts through hands-on experiments with sunlight, water, and plants. The afternoon features water play stations where children cool off with splashy games and scientific water activities. As the day progresses, junior chefs prepare fresh summer treats during our picnic workshop, learning food preparation techniques perfect for warm weather outings. This celebratory camp helps children process the end of the school year while building excitement for the summer months ahead! Daily Structure: • Morning: Welcome circle with school year reflection followed by summer bucket list creation and outdoor science activities • Mid-day: Lunch and summer kick-off games at Littlejohn Park • Afternoon: Water play stations with scientific exploration followed by summer picnic preparation and friendship celebration Take Home: Summer activity kit with bucket list, memory book, and seasonal recipe cards CAMP DETAILS & LOGISTICS • Ages: TK-5th grade (most campers are K-3rd grade) • Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Extended care available 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) • What to Bring: Labeled water bottle, one hearty snack, and a nut-free lunch • Attire: Comfortable clothing, trampoline socks recommended (no-shoes facility) • Note: Please leave toys and personal items at home or in lobby cubbies • Sibling Discount: 10% off for second child with code "Siblings10" Cancellation Policy: • Transfer Option: Transfer to another student for $25 fee • 45+ Days Before Camp: Refund minus $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing fee • Less Than 45 Days Before Camp: No refunds issued Why Choose The Village Kids' Club for Camp: At The Village Kids' Club, we transform ordinary days off school into extraordinary adventures with small group sizes, experienced instructors, and substantive, hands-on activities that build genuine skills while sparking joy and wonder.

Cancellation Policy
VKC Fair + Flexible Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our campers and our organization. Winter & Spring 2025–2026 Policy Transfer Option: You may transfer your camp spot to another student at any time for a $25 transfer fee. 45 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and a 3% payment-processing fee. Less Than 45 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued. You may still transfer your camp spot to another student. Summer 2026 Policy Before February 1, 2026 100% refundable, minus a 3% payment-processing fee. No cancellation fee — book early, risk-free! February 1 – April 30, 2026 Refunds are available, less a $50 cancellation fee and 3% processing. Transfers to another week or camper are allowed at no charge, if space permits. After May 1, 2026 No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your registration to another student or camp week for a $25 transfer fee, space permitting. Differences in Tuition If you transfer into a higher-priced camp, the tuition difference will be charged at the time of transfer. If you move into a lower-priced camp, the difference will be refunded (less applicable processing fees) or credited toward a future VKC program. Member Benefit Members may transfer or switch camps free of charge up to 10 days before the camp start date.
